Too many little s***S around here  that think they can use ya car as a battering ram hence why I think I will change it  knowing that the car is still alarmed.

Not sure if unplugging it will remove the fire risk. The batteries will still leak.I removed mine from the car. :-/

Just done mine .... dead easy job  to remove but may try later in getting inside it  to replace the batteries but there again it might just sit in the shed on a shelf gathering dust   ::) ;D

These things have a reputation for catching fire when they get old.  If I were you I would either fix it or bin it dispose of it appropriately with regard to the environment. 

Unless you want a new shed on the insurance, of course.    ;D

If it does catch fire I could build a even bigger shed  than I have now.......... now thats worth thinking about  ;) ;D ;D

I know some people who could sort you out with a shed fire, couldnt be traced back to you, mate, know woddah mean?  ;) ;)
