Fortunately, nobody here knows my phobia (except perhaps Marks_DTM if Mrs DTM told him). Its irrational (ish, started with an 'incident', but still irrational). So I'll keep it to myself.
I am also a bit scared of heights - I can deal with it, but am very uncomfortable. Its sort of strange, but when I get too high (and can see the ground), I get a strange tingle in me gonads

- which is why you may have heard me say things are 'bollock-tinglingly high'
Which brings me on to another point. In my younger days, I used to take jobs purely to learn/overcome things (for example, job in data entry to lear to touchtype). I became a telephone 'engineer' for a large Telco to overcome my fear of heights - going up poles etc. Wasn't long before I was strapping 5 sections (about the max before flex became too much) of 2 3 section ladders together to reach tops of high buildings. If we'd have been caught playing such stunts.....
