If I bring the MV6 I may take down strip just for laugh - gotta a slushbox, so it ain't that impressive.

Alas, if I bring caravan I will be in a 1.8 diesel....

I dont know if I should bring the Omega and the caravan or come in the wifes Rover 25 and bring a tent. There's a bloke who will fit a 140BHP chip to the Rover and he in Peterborough on the 15th.  :-/

I'd only be able to do the Sunday......and looking on a map....i could go either m4 m25 m1 or cross country......eitherway i reckon it would take me 3 hours eachway  :(

Its a journey I have made before......about 90 miles and 2 hours driving....mostly dual carriage way once you get to Oxford.

Yeah, A420 to Oxford is a bit of a drag, but only 20 - 30m, then A34, M40 one junction, A43 (picking me up on way through ;)) to Northampton, M1 down 1 jnc, A45 and you're about there.  A34/M40/A43/M1/A45 all nice fast roads....

I do a school run AA...that takes me 6 hours round trip....not every day/week .....but leaves me feeling cream crackered the next day.....im getting old you know  ::)

I plan to make an early start on the Sunday to get there about 9am and leave about 3pm.

I reckon, if I push my car, say take it up to 45mph, I should do it in about 3 hours.
