Doubtful, they haven't even managed to get Linux working in a useful way yet - no much chance of a dead OS being ported ;)

More interestingly, though, work is well underway to port Android to the HP tablet .. so you're not stuck with a dead OS on it.

Hp claim only to have dumped the hardware, not the software. Which makes sense not to have to licence embedded os from elsewhere ;)

I have a feeling they may be playing silly beggars  :-X

I have a perfectly good tech2 for my vauxhalls, and a perfectly good testbook for the rover ;)

There are options for an iOS device that don't require a USB port, though .. PLX Kiwi and Rev being just two :)
