Wireless Networking a Humax HDR-Fox T2
« on: 29 September 2011, 09:54:11 »

Has anyone done it?

It appears from the reviews that the USB stick that you can buy from Humax Direct comes with the instructions written in German (not my strongest language), and it's expensive.

Why use a usb stick?
According to the specs for it, i just looked at, its got an ethernet port on it.

So just connect it to a wireless bridge, the wireless bridge will connect to your wireless setup (atfer you configure it)  :y

Just to clarify.....will any usb stick work or does it have to be a Humax one? If it needs to be a Humax one then the rest of my suggestion would work  :y

The router isn't in the same room as the Humax, I would have to trail a dirty long ethernet cable all over the house ;D

This is similar to the device i have shoved behind my tv

Connect the RJ45 from your Humax to it, this then connects to your wireless router  :y

I connect my BT Infinity to the Humax Freesat HDR via main over internet - products such as:
