Around 1999 when they made a few changes prior to the major changes of 2000.

no doubt others might know other pointers, but to my knowledge - assuming the car is original - a mini-facelift will have side airbags (on the front seats) and solid headrests, pre-facelift (aka original) do not. In addition, the MV6 and Elite mini-facelift and later had Xenon HID headlights instead of halogen. Oh and the 3.0 on mini-facelift and later has the longer "droop snout" plenum chamber.

Ok, it must be a mini face lift then as i have side air bags and hiv headlights etc etc.
