LOL....   it missed our house and blew up the neighbours... i'm so doing THAT again !

Essex Big Al,  just spotted the signature....   the 61 may not, QUITE be cooler than a Miggy, although that's a tough call to make,   but it sure as hell costs more to buy, and less to run !

Cooler than A miggy, or any other car you care to mention imo.Iirc Rory Gallaghers was a 61, as was Gary Moores red one. ;) 8)

I had an early 70,s sunburst which I bitterly regret selling. It played so much better than the 8 year old one I have now - which has came out of its case twice in the last 18 months, for about 10 minutes each time. ::)

all those guitar playing members might like to know i'm also a Luthier, and former Fender employee,  and will happily perform miracles on set ups for members, as a favour.      call it a grateful community service.

(but if you need serious refrets and such like...  it may have to be negotiated...   a couple of hours on a fret dress , electronics service/repair and set up, in my spare time, i'll happily do for free for any member....    but whole day(s) of work,..   well, definitely  a heavily discounted rate...  )

Thats good to know Max. :y............If I ever get round to attempting to play again I might just call on your services.Im useless at the whole setting up thing. Its an art in itself imo.
Even further off topic - a mate of mine announced (in the early 70,s) that he was giving up his job to make guitars.Everyone though he had lost his marbles, but he kept at it and became reasonably succesful and has been doing it ever since.
