I would say about £200 to 3225 - I have a spare CID needing repair - if I send it to Germany as I have others the fix cost is about £150 plus postage - so you need to pitch around that figure I suppose given that there will be a few faulty one's knocking around.

I just paid £200 for a CID in delivery mode.....  and was recently quoted £425  for a brand spanking new one.

was going to pay £350 for one with an NCDC,  but the ncdc turned out to be almost as donald-ed as the one i already have.,...

now i just need to get a cdc3 to swap the bits over.....   and a working telematics,    and i'm sorted....   


as far as i'm concerned, a knackered NCDC (in terms of  satnav lasers, or transport  mechanism)  is virtually worthless....     if it's just the cdc3, then that's sort-able witha bit of luck and a following wind, but still not "valuable"   

when funds are plentiful,  i'd cheerfully pay £150 , for a fully working one,  and if it was a really "low mileage"  one,   (say a replacement unit from a stealer late in the cars life or something) then maybe £200  but no more than that.

Nothing.  You are replacing the screen only in your existing unit....

I didnt realise a new screen would go straight in. Several options for those needing one then  . I have NCDC 2013 with mono screen which I intend selling at some point. Im wondering if it would actually be worthwhile buying a new CID screen and then selling the whole thing with new colour screen.

To clarify, you are buying a screen only, not a complete CID unit ready to fit.  You do need to do a bit of dissembly/rebuild on the defective unit.

Ah, of course. ........screen wont fit into the unit the mono screen comes out of.
