Hi folks, quick note to say hello. Bought my first Omega yesterday a 2003 3.2 Elite so here I am. So far very impressed has all the bells and whistles and eveything works. One thing that bothers me is the cambelt the car has done 68,000 miles with stamped history . The last service was at 50,000 but this was in 2009 previous to that was 2007 at 38,000 at which point from what I can make out the belt was changed so all said and done think I will play safe, anyone out there within 50 ish miles of Melton Mowbray fancy the job if not into the dealer it will go.

Hi Omega32E - welcome along.

That cambelt is way overdue - I would be pooing myself  :o

Start a thread in Omega General Help asking for nearby mechanics - more people will see it there.  From memory, Darth Loo-Knee is probably nearest in Stork-on-Trent.  Isn't that just 50 or 60 miles from you?

Best of luck!   :y
