My local MP is in trouble
« on: 13 November 2011, 18:15:45 »

He defied the party whip and voted for a referendum on Europe and has been told not to expect any ministerial jobs this parliament.

Most locals support him except for some socialist dinosaurs.

I reckon he has done more for us than the previous MP  whose biggest acheivement is getting a few post offices shut (he voted for it).

At least voting is easy now as UKIP here are more or less dead as they like him as well.

Mine had just been promoted, so immediately reneged on her promise to vote for it!

Ours is a rebel, first seat, first term, his late father died in a local hospice and was the MP years ago
