NCDC 2013 problem
« on: 13 December 2011, 14:34:57 »

Mine seems to have decided not to close its cdc flap anymore. Is this common? Any easy solutions?

At the same time the cdc cartridge also seems to be sticking a bit on ejecting it. Easily resolved by giving it a jiggle. Any suggestions to stop the jiggling required to get it out?

You have to visually check. Be very careful removing facia, desperately easy to break....

Very common for the pin on the side of the flap to break meaning that the flap does not open or close correctly, nor does it operate the sensor switch to enable the eject mechanism.

Philips ceased trading over ten years ago, so I think you may anticipate my answer with regards to anything I can offer regarding spares. We don`t even take that model in now, as nothing left we can do with it.

There are some on here who are buying up all of the scrap units, so someone may be along with a solution..
