Make sure you replace the powersounder with a new one rather than simply leaving it disconnected

What's the consequence of just leaving it disconnected? I may have a similar issue.

Insurance will usually be null and void - and that can bring on its own problems !!

And for those of you who do not believe this, then tell your insurance company that the car no longer falls within the Thatcham Category one criteria as part of the original equipment alarm system has been removed, and see what they say with regards to cover.
