Quick fixer up ?
« on: 05 February 2012, 23:23:52 »

you know we understand migs and their little faults, well here's a vehicle that needs similar care and attention  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/jcb-digger-/360431135056?pt=UK_BOI_Industrial_Tools_Construction_Tools_ET&hash=item53eb5ea950 I particularly like the " very little brakes " . So if you are ever behind a JCB, leave plenty space.  :y :y

Its a 3C, nasty horrible Leyland 4-98 engine in them.

Cant say I have come across one with 'good' brakes yet!  ;D

Or one with no play in the bushes!

Ah, but imagine the road presence you would have with such a vehicle, Mr DTM, road presence is everything ;D

Even blind women in their Passats would see that  >:(And breath.

With the added advantage that you can "accidentally" leave the rear arm untethered and drive round with it on a low loader. When the bucket decides to swing round they make fast work of a GATSO camera.  ;D

Dont know what you are complaining about Mark, the engine cant be too bad if it can wheelie and the steering only has 90 degrees of play in it now that there is some fluid in the hydraulics.
Ergonomics are wonderfull with the full upholstered reclining seat and the throttle pedal is conveniently located somewhere behind the driving seat.

Something similar happened down here a few years ago and took the roofs off a couple of cars, sadly it did the same to the occupants as well  :'(
