Odd happenings with sunroof!
« on: 17 February 2012, 12:40:42 »

Has anyone had odd goings on with their electric sunroof?
I was driving along the other day and all of a sudden the sunroof tilted open, then about ten seconds later closed again! Have i got a ghost??? Ive tried doing the relearn sequence but this has made no difference and has done this strange behaviour several times now.
Any ideas? I could accept a shorting connection but that wouldnt close it again surely?

The first time mine did it, it was pretty warm in the car and I had the AC on ECO .. I did actually wonder if the car was smart enough to do that.

Sadly, no. ;D

Being a facelift MV6 my car has the best type of sunroof available. The type that gives me a couple of inches extra headroom and never opens when I least expect it. To open it at all requires a tin opener, in fact. ;D

I lose the option of driving along getting my ears buffeted to kingdom come, though. Shucks, how do I rectify that? ::)
