generally the open circuit is caused by broken wiring/socket problem :-\

At this stage, I'm not convinced there is a 13 code ;)

Ok tomorrow in working on the tanks so I'll get under me car and check the clip for the lambda sensor then I will do a paper clip test again and let you know all your feedback is most appreciated :)

ok the code is saying now 10 flashes followed by 3 flashes followed by 4 flashes then ten flashes again then starts over again hope this helps cause the car was running like shit this morning :(

Only just found out today that when it gets to 4500 revs it limets out and have bin told by a friend that it is the Crank Sensor?????

I don't really have a volt meter and don't fancy been ripped off by the garage funny thing was I removed the cam shaft sensor plugged it back on then the light went out drove mint! Got back then the light back on ;( tryed messing about again a few times but no luck seems strange if can go from been crap to ok then mashed again???

When my cam sensor was on the way out it would do this.  Cleaning up the plug and socket with some electrical contact cleaner kept it going for a couple of weeks before the light would come back on.  Eventually, the period of working got shorter so there was no option but to change the sensor.  Once that was changed it was like driving a different car!

Time to change the cam shaft sensor then any it... Is it hard to change it? Is it just a lead?
