How about this http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_202159_langId_-1_categoryId_165746. Not the most stylish accessory but the 3 point version got my estate through it's MOT when it failed on the centre belt.

Is it possible to retrospectively fit an inertia reel belt to the seat like later cars? Did Vauxhall really have two different seat backs - with & without reel fixing points?  :-/

...not many of those about...most omegas had 3 x 3 point belts.
The very early ones had a lap belt fitted, the 'P' reg one I've just broken did, anyway.

Any chance you still have the lap belt?

Nah Mate, I doubt it.
I did un bolt them from the body shell but I don't think I kept them as I have very little space for storage, and what space I do have is already full of Omega and Vectra spares!

I only replied to give you a little extra info to help you narrow down your search...

I have a one of these mate.
Mine was a poverty spec Select estate and had the Lapbelt etc.

Ive put in an elite interior. Still not found the bits i need yet.

Stupidly, they switched the sides for the clips.

Mine has 2 on the left and 1 on the right (drivers side),
when the elite interior requires 2 on the right and one on the left (attached to the seat as inertia)

Pm me.

Same you didn;t ask for one a couple of weeks ago, scraped a PF Estate with a Lap Belt in the back, being an very early 2.0 GLS the whole  car went as one, you could have had what ever you needed Paul.

Still, think your lucky that the Mot Man hasn't sussed early seats in a FL and spotted lack of Airbags, assuming thats part of the Test, that could have been a pain full one.

Some years ago the rear centre belt on my FL estate seized and it failed it's NCT ( MOT ) I tried to release it but got fed up and cut it and then replaced it with a lap belt I took out of a circa '97 Vectra saloon .
I notice that your rear seats are the opposite to mine in as far as much my double anchorage is on the drivers side whereas yours is on the passenger side on the photo. It'll still work with the Vectra item.

Chris.

Airbag light is on, its not a failure - just a advisory.

Got your voicemail mate, leaving car as is - can't be hassled with swapping interiors around, just want rid of it now!  :-[
