My 2.5 Opel Omega is ready for the scapyard. How do I remove the interior mirror from the windscreen?

Has it a sensor? If not the mirror should slide down the way

Tap it down, essentially slide it down the inside of the screen, lilely very stiff to start

As above just slides down

Thanks chaps. It came off easily enough. I presume a new screen comes with the holder attached.
