Right, here we go, may have missed one or two. At a young age, first company cars I was in the motor trade so took home anything with tax and petrol, mostly. :y :y :y

1.      196?  Ford Pop 100E   Age 13 years.
2.      Fiat 600 Age 14 years.
3.      1963 Mini woody estate, floor start, first car after passing test at 17 years.
4.      1972 Mini Van, ex plod.
5.      1965 Humber sceptre Mk1
6.      Company cars
7.      19?? Mini 1000
8.      1065 Ford Anglia
9.      197? Ford Escort estate Mk1
10.      Company cars for many years, during this time I had a 1971 Bedford J series Ambulance which I used for ‘Cubs’ Later a 1974 LWB Transit Crew Bus, also used for Cubs.
11.      1963 Riley Elf.
12.      Company Cars
13.      19?? Fiat Panda
14.      19?? Matra Rancho
15.      1971 Rover 2000
16.      1979 Landrover Series 3  ex MOD, used for ‘Cubs’
17.      1982 Landrover Series bought from North to sell in South
18.      1990 New, RSP Mini Cooper, alongside MOD Landrover
19.      1987 Ford Sierra
20.      1985 Renault Traffic Mini Bus, along side the Sierra
21.      1989 Rover 827
22.      1992 Pug 405
23.      1996 Mig Estate
24.      19?? Mini 1000 project.
25.      1960 Ford 107e Project
26.      Rover 800
27.      Mitsubishi Gallant V6 24V
28.      1998 Mig Estate, secondary car. Sitting rather forlorn....
29.      2007 PT Cruiser
30.      2007 Citroen C4 Grande Picasso
31.      Current cars in the family are the Mitsubishi, Mig estate, C4 Picasso and recent addition Citroen Saxo, currently being abused by Master Vamps

And still going strong? ::) :D

Well that's how it felt, fair cop..... :y :y :y

Hello all, I'll see if I can remember.

1-1982 Cortina 2.0GL-written off by a reversing lorry
2-1981 Granada 2.8 Ghia-brother blew up the engine.
3-1986 Granada 2.8i Ghia-had it for 10 years.
4-1972 Daimler Sovereign 2.8 Mod-wouldn't pull Granny off the p*** pot. Replaced with
5-1973 Rover 3500s-flying machine.
6-1983 Capri 2.8 Injection-couldn't keep up with the Rover.
7-1984 Capri 2.0S-swapped the 2.8 with my brother.
8-1972 Jensen Interceptor-always wanted one-but this one was full of holes.
9-1987 Renault 9-what a car!!(I mean it)
10-1993 Ford Fiesta 1.1 Dull
11-1993 Mazda MX5. Made me look like a hairdresser.
12-1998 Omega 2.5 GLS auto estate-two years old when bought-still have it for spares-stopped using it 3 months ago-never let me down.
13-1999 Range Rover 4.6HSE-Love it.
14-1999 Omega Elite estate-bought 3 months ago to replace the other Omega for the wife-what a car. £900 same colour as other Omega so when she bashes in anything I can easily swap it over.

14. 1991 Fiesta XR2i (split up with g/f and her kids so single man again, single mans car.....)
think you mean WOMANS car ;)

Also, the crappy BMW mini - this is very common for them to be rejected, I guess you had to sign the disclaimer about accepting the faults may be on the new car, yet did not constitute a design problem?  The poor sod who bought your rejected one (they just get sold on, as deemed nothing to repair) is the unlucky one, as they are buying 2nd hand, so cannot reject as easily ;D

I tend to keep cars until I kill them, so here goes

1982 Triumph Acclaim HLS - great engine, pretty rapid, didn't do corners. Did around 30k, gave to my brother.
1986 Vauxhall Belmont 1.8GLSi - first engine, WOW! Replacement engine shite. Only had car 3 months, hated it. Covered around 15-20k in that time though.
1990 Vauxhall Astra GTE - girls car. Abysmally bad chassis, couldn't handle the engine. Bought it just under 2yrs old, started to rust before its 3rd birthday, sold it after a year due to the hassle (police pulls, breakins etc) and the £3k insurance renewals!
1990 Rover 216GSi - one of the best cars I've owned, for what it was, went like stink (quicker than the GTE, only it handled, and could stop!). Awful economy (averaged 25mpg ::)), but it lived on the redline all the time. No PAS though, kept me fit! Sold to my brother when he got divorced.

In this era I was carless for a while - Mrs TB had company/lease cars, I had a works supplied van.

2000 Rover 25 1.6iS - first new car (that I've paid for myself), and one we still have on the drive.  HG issues aside, its been a great car. Build quality is, errr, 'Longbridge', but being one of the very first 25s, it has the handling.
1998 Vauxhall Omega MV6 - only intended to keep it a few months, still have it 5.5yrs later
1996 Vauxhall Omega CD - Project TB1
1999 Vauxhall Omega Elite - Project TB2, well known on this site, and the current owner is a member. I miss that car, despite the grief it gave me for the first 9 months.

My brother had it for a few years, used it as a 'van' when he was rebuilding his house. Other than petrol and tyres, he never did anything to that car, not even check the oil, let alone change it. I used it when I moved house, and it still went like stink ::).  Eventually scrapped due to needing more done to it than it was worth (welding, pads and discs all round, a bloody good service). Engine was still strong at 140k when it was scrapped - not bad when you consider that in my ownership, it had spent its life up around 7000rpm.

This takes me back, mostly I run cars to the ground or until they're written off too. So not that many really for 17 years of driving! Recently taken to storing them as 'projects'  ;D ;D

1978 Renault 12 - cost £250 in 1993. All sun-bleached red and black vinyl. lasted a few months before brakes failed and wrote it off along with a clit and an escort!

1978 Mini 850 - Leyland variety. Family heirloom that was passed from great grandfather to nanna to mother, to me. Clocked well over 100000 miles! Many happy days learning in it and driving until 1999 when a Carlton came along. Still got it sitting in a lock up as I refuse to part company.

1988 Carlton 2.0 GLi saloon - a £700 runabout that lasted ages (40k in 3 yrs) until it needed a new floor, steering rack, exhaust .....

1996 Omega 2.0 16V Select manual saloon - The absolute base model possible. Still, driving 16k in 2 yrs I found it great to drive and a great replacement for the Carlton as no problems or costs during ownership. Not long after discovering the autobahnstormers website I was hankering after an Elite though!

1999 Omega 3.0 Elite auto saloon. Beautiful. Star silver, black leather, did a fantastic 3 years (20k?) in this before writing it off with a Micra :(  :'( Still miss it, and wish one day for another 3 litre....

1996 Omega 2.5 V6 CDX auto saloon. bought as a project/elite fund making idea as it'd only done 65k, run for about 200 miles, couldn't sell it and it's still sitting on the lawn as a parts supplier. wish i'd never laid eyes on it!

1999 Omega 2.5 V6 Elite manual saloon. Bought as a replacement for the 3.0, like the performance and the toys but never truly loved it.

1999 Omega 2.0 16V manual estate. excellent runaround & load shifter with the bonus of being sourced from and LPG converted by a fabulous forum member. Has given me the bug for an Elite estate, and LPG always!

Vectra Elite Estate doing good post-Omega service but still not as nice to sit in.

One last Omega on the drive, one Corsa on the lawn...maybe they'll go to a good home before too long!

1. 1982 Vauxhall Cavalier 1.6 GLS
2. 1989 Vauxhall Cavalier 1.6 GL
3. 1993 Ford Granada Scorpio 2.0
4. 1999 Vauxhall Omega Elite 3.0
5. 2002 Vauxhall Omega Elite 3.2 Estate

Nothing much to write home about, guess I'm a Vx man at heart, apart from the Granada!
