Facelift CDX Breaking for spares
« on: 30 March 2011, 12:13:36 »

I'm breaking a Facelift 2.5 CDX in 293/25L Premium Blue. Its only done 37,000 miles but the cambelt tensioner has packed up and the belt has slipped causing contact between valves and pistons. If there are any parts you require just ask.

Auto box AR25 £100, collection only but may deliver within a reasonable distance for the cost of fuel.

I know but by the time I buy secondhand heads, new head gaskets, cam cover gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets, ect, luckily it has a new Vauxhall cambelt kit fitted and spend the couple of days sorting it plus the cost of the car, I would need to sell it for £800 for make it worth my while and I can't see it being worth that TBH :'(

It really isn't James, petrol Omegas just aren't selling at the moment, probably something to do with the cost of fuel :(
