Fob battery type ?
« on: 25 April 2015, 08:13:48 »

Need to change the batteries in my FL fobs .  owners manual says CR 20 32

So is that a recognised battey type in a motor factors & will they understand that code/type ?  :-\

Any suggestions of where else  to purchase welcome  ;)

Yes CR2032, any shop that stocks batteries should have them  VERY common size.

Available anywhere, although buy branded rather than a pack from Poundland if you don't want to be changing them every week.

So as you know, the 2032 means 20mm diameter and 3.2mm thick.

Pack of two Duracell in tesco £4.99, last time I bought some. Portland specials last about a month.

I used the multi pack ones from Poundland and its lasted well over a year now and still going strong, a lot more reliable than that big 12v thing that sits in the front of the engine bay.  ;D
