All interesting information and with seeing other reviews I am still looking at options. :y

Little things like the umbrellas in the doors impress me, (it does not take a lot)  ::)

Marshalls have a Sportline on offer with the Panoramic roof and the winter kit fitted.  so after wondering what other options they offer I went on the car configuration on their site and see they have HUD and a few other options. Color options, some good but the Red, Silver and Grey were the only ones that caught my eye, The one i mentioned earlier is black and looks stunning, but they are are sod to clean.

Still cant decide on Diesel verse PHEV. then with the other thread Do I buy it or lease it, I think if I lease I want the option to buy .  As Tunnie says its down to costing /taes etc, This will be a company car if I do go for it.

I think the max amount of Euros you can take out or in the country is 10,000 but you need an audit trail.

That's true - but that is the max amount with out having to declare it.  I have read if you declare above that amount and with valid reason it all good, and even better if in sealed bank bags and support of a bank statement for proof.  But try getting more than £1000 from a bank without interrogation. :-X

Still looking at the idea of the Skoda Superb as a new car so asked for some prices for servicing etc.  Also asked for price of replacement battery pack even though it has a 8 year warranty.

Just had a few prices emailed to me.  I did ask for the costing to be PHEV v Diesel (Not petrol)

So guessing there is quite a difference in the Brakes construction being a PHEV

With all the apps online for deals and comparing travel there are some good offers to travel.

I had a look into a visit to Edinburgh by train but at £157+ PP I thought the the run up through Jedburgh would be nicer in the Omega.

When I came off the search link Google was showing the same trip on an add for £15 after discounts. ::)

So some good deals out there. :y

Am wanting a few days days away and do some sight seeing so maybe will be looking on the google again for some nice B&B by the coast or in the country side.

Maybe a drive up Past Newcastle, then through the National Parks to Edinburgh maybe onto Aberdeen, then go west maybe to Glasgow and the return South.

I have relatives in Newcastle & Aberdeen so maybe some catching up to be done.

I rang my bank yesterday to ask a question. They gave me a good understanding of what I asked.

Today they sent me a survey asking how was the experience.

But they never send a questionnaire or survey when you try to with withdraw money after the amount of questions they asking what the reason is wanting t with draw it. Or even paying in money.

Seen so many reports and videos of how bad the banks have become. :-\

No wonder people are drawing their cash out to stop the banks controlling because of the governments around the world are trying to control finance. :-X

Talks of digital currency, years ago after a baby was taken from a hospital they added security to maternity wards but there was even mentions of having chip implants to stop it happening on the future, the truth maybe was they were planning to other options in motion. (tracking and fiances being just 2 of them)

There is 50 note limit allowing payment of £1000 using the ATM style machine but go to the counter trying to pay in more is crazy.

Same thing with flight costs

Raised at holiday times etc.

But a friend found out that when he either booked a flight or drove to Germany to see his GF prices rose at holiday times but if she booked for his trip from Germany no price hikes at all for either flight or tunnel bookings. :-\

Just been planning a journey from Kings Cross to Retford/Doncaster

if traveled at 7pm train fare is quoted £127 (and maybe crowded) :-\

Journey north it seems no stop at Retford, so extra cost for 2nd train journey from Doncaster to Retford.
if traveled at 8pm train fare quoted is £31.08 :y

Also its a 15 interval service changing to every to every 30 minutes in the evening, bet service than our our buses into local towns. :y

Not that surprising - there will be losses in the cables and the inverter, all producing a nice load of heat, its not massive from a percentage perspective but when you are talking tens of kilowatts, it does add up

Yep. I did read that a shorter charge cable helps reduce losses a little, although I'm not sure how true that is.

Anyway, I charged it from 15% to 92% for exactly £18 using standard price electricity (24p per KW).This gave an extra 200miles of range. Not sure how that works out when compared to petrol or derv.

Surely not if you are driving.  ;D

So when are you investing in solar panels, or even a wind turbine on the Opti estate.
