Hi,
Does anybody know if I can use the cats off a 3.0 elite estate on my 3.2 elite estate?

Thanks

They will fit physically, but I think the 3.0 ones will be missing holes for pre-cat sensors? So guessing they will need to be retro fitted  :-\

Im about to do this actually, they are better than the 3.2 ones..

Apparently you need to drill and weld a boss for the 2nd lambda sensor, and also shave about 5mm off the flange that attaches to the manifold.

Unless they are actually failing garage emission tests, or are blowing, whats the gain?

Unusual fault. Have your landings been harsh after launches?

But that code is easily cleared for less hassle than fitting 3.0l cats.  If the main cats are working (by garage emissions test), I'd stick with the 'proper' cats :)

3.2 has stupid pre cats so 4 in all and a lambda after each one (iirc) so 4 again. You will need to move the pre cat lambdas to behind the 3.0 cats and hope that's enough for it to be happy as they are fussy enough about the pre cats not being 100%. Should be ok though :)

My 2.6 was showing those codes when I first got it, it seems a good thrash and decent petrol may help.

3.2 and 2.6 both share the same set-up regarding 4 lambdas.

I'm just about to scrap a full set of 2.6 catalytic convertors, I'm just waiting for a break in the rain so as I can remove them.
