Hi everyone!
I just purchased an Opel Omega, without realy looking for one

The thing is, I have always had VW's and Audi's.
But my daily driver A6 Quattro have been sick for the last 1,5 months.
And it looks like it might take a while longer to sort it out.
So I've been on the lookout for a second car for the last few days.
Initially I wanted a 4wd of some sorts but everything I came across was either in a sad state,
or too pricey.
And then this popped up at a nearby Opel dealer:

Its a 2001 estate with the 2.2 petrol engine and automatic transmission.
It has most of the nice options like leather interior, sunroof, climate control and finally my first car with xenon - YAY!
I took it for a test drive, liked it and ended up buying it

The body is realy tidy, the only thing I could find was some small rust bubbles at the bottom
of both right hand side doors. Will look into fixing that next summer.
My only concern with this car is that the mileage is abit high, around 258.000 km.
Im hoping it will still last me a while with some proper maintenance.
Beeing a VAG person I dont have much experience with Opels,
but I was happy to see theres such a big community of enthusiasts around these cars

I havent picked the car up yet.
The dealer said it should be ready around wednesday next week or something. I can hardly wait...
