  JUST HAD A LOOK AT THE SCUTTLE AND ITS FULL OF WATER,LOOKS LIKE IT COULD BE THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM,IT HAS BEEN THE FIRST DRY DAY TODAY FOR SOME TIME,AND THE FAN HAS WORKED OK WITHOUT STAYING ON,WILL DRAIN AND CLEAN SCUTTLE,THEN FINGERS CROSSED,THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR REPLIES.

PS SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS MY SON SPILT A DRINK ONTO THE KEYBOARD SO KEY HAS STUCK, TIME TO BUY ANOTHER KEYBOARD.I SEEM TO BE HAVING TROUBLE WITH FLUIDS AT THE MOMENT.

Thanks ror the replies chaps,is the controller very difficult to get to The fan stays on all the time until i pull the fuse,an awnser to one of the replies,yes my car has climate control.

Hello
Can any body help me with a problem on my 1999 omega 3.0 elite.when i turn off the ignition the heater fan keeps on going, also it keeps on speeding up and slowing down when engine is running,i have to remove the fuse when leaving the car.

Hi mate
i had the same problem a couple of weeks ago,on my 1999 3,0 elite estate,alarm going off all the time,it seemed worse when it rained,it turned out to be a dodgy door switch,drivers side,i replaced it and had no problem since,as they are quite cheap to buy i replaced all of them including the tailgate.i also had trouble with the heater fan staying on,it turned out to be the front scuttle full of water,scuttle drain hole was blocked.cleaned it out drained the water and now no more problems. hope you get the alarm sorted.

just to say hello to all you omega owners,just bought a 3.0 omega elite estate,had an omega elite saloon before,but now have a mutt so more usefull,lovley car but having trouble with the heater fan staying on,when turning off ignition.great site should have joined it sooner.
