Hi everyone! lpg q's
« on: 26 May 2010, 23:39:06 »

Hi, ive been lurking here for a while and decided to introduce myself.
My name is Andy, im 22 from Leicester and I have a 1999 (t) omega elite 2.5.v6 estate. I got it back in november and ran it for a while but couldnt afford the fuel for it so its sat on the drive since.
Any way i decided after reading on here that i'd do a gas conversion. Today i received a front end stag lpg kit from the guy Teilo from motogas and am now just after a tank and filler kit to get going. At the same time ive got new rocker gaskets to put on aswell.
So in the near future im going to fitting this lot and no doubt asking you lot a few q's on the fitting. Ive been reading up a lot on it and think im pretty clued up on the majority of it.
Ill try and get some pics up of the omega, its only done 70k so far and is in real good nick if a little dirty.
Any fire with the first question, in the box, he's included two connectors for the polyflex i think, no3 in this link. http://www.tinleytech.co.uk/acatalog/Poly_Pipe__Clips_and_Fittings.html
Cant work out where these would go, the vaporiser is supplied with the nuts and olive and i would think the tank would aswell. So what are these for?
cheers
Andy
