temp sensors can just go, but it can also be damp in the sensor plug. cold temps shrink the rubber seals same on anything else over time and the age of the seals.

there is that meany scams its getting annoying, dvla scam passport scam banking. it goes on and on now there is the text scam.  My Mrs had one yesterday from her so called back saying she had made a payment and she needs to log into her account. she said do i have an internet account, said no its just a basic account. checked the senders address and a few tweeks around found it was directed from hong kong, they even use web pages as email address were the web page security is rubbish so becafull of these.   think the best one i had was a parking fine, that was funny, rang the proper number for them and asked,, and they said yes we know our system was hacked. never trust an e-mail or a text if you think its suspect it not to be true. they made it easier now to send them to the company they saying they are just forward it to spoofing@     then the name of the company only thing you really need to know is if its .com or co.uk but .com is most of them.

if the exhaust is so bad remove the o2 sensor on bank 2 and check its not blocked. but if the exhaust is as bad as you say it is then its no good it will have rust build up in the boxes limiting exhaust gases and building up in the exhaust this will make the sensor unable to adjust fuel etc. and be out of range of the sensor to adjust, and if the back box is the type with the webbing in side the rust build up will be stuck around the pipe. but you really need a new exhaust fitting. its not good on the engine with a damaged exhaust it can do damage to the cats.

That code relates to a lambda sensor...

P0150 O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
P0150 O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
P0150 O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
P0150 O2 sensor circuit malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

Wouldnt have thought that would limit you though...

What protection did you put in place before soaking all the engine?  (never a good idea)

garage had it up on ramps, and did the checks and had on computer and break tester, also needs a good wire down every where its bad underneath but still holding in. most of the body stone chip seal has gone, old man booked it in and went with it to garage, sandblasting a coating £260,thats the list that garage said was wrong. except rears pistons and brake fluid.   I dont think its worth paying out any more on it, will have a go at the under body in warmer weather wire brush it down and harriet or other make paint it and seal should cost a lot less, disks are £90 and pistons are going to be recon,  will see how that goes later on.

I think ive found the problem, disks are 2 microns /angel below the recommended disc size, and the pistons in the front brakes wont do full travel sometimes so think the warped or something. so not fixing it just yet said would change them in new year, not checked to see if the discs are warped but they probably are, so just put some new pads on so he can still drive around, old ones had plenty of meat on them, he only drives into town so think it should be fine for a few weeks, but gave it a good run down road and no problems with emergency stop or stopping normal, so ordering the parts, so ready in new year to fit them. and think will change the brake fluid as well, probably the original stuff. and just to be sure will change the back pistons as well. think should be all fine then.

I'm glad the window was fitted but noticed that there was some Quarter Turn quick release fasteners missing for the plastic grill that's under the window frame is there a part number or replacement part that will fit to lock it down, looks like 4 are missing, and cannot find a part number or general look on google under Quarter Turn quick release fastener, some are similar but don't look right size or shape on pic.  ???
