But fit poly bushes at the front and genuine GM bushes at the rear of them if you want decent handling.
Then wheel alignment to WIM specs. |

.A bloke came over to me in Tescos car park last week to talk about my Omega, which is getting pretty common these days. I get exactly the same with my 2007 Range Rover, " much better than than the junk that they're turning out now " is the most used comment .So far I've had six years motoring for around £12,000 in total so I'm happy with that. |

That does seem strong money, I think if it were me I'd rather have an early x350 Jaguar XJ, which can be had for roughly the same money

A bloke came over to me in Tescos car park last week to talk about my Omega, which is getting pretty common these days. I have had that a number of times this year, with the usual expression made of: "you don't see many of those these days" and that is " a proper car!" ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It was a Sun article. That was basic the headline. Didn't bother reading the article as it's probably clickbaity media BS but it's an interesting idea.

Saw a suggestion tother day that Halal butchery is going to be outlawed in the UK and if that happened, all the Muslims would leave. Who was suggesting that? I draw a lot of my experiences on Spain unsurprisingly. As far as I can tell, supermarket meat is still butchered traditionally. There are however a lot more butchers shops on the high streets. Bit like the UK 40 years ago. What is happening is “ nominated” towns are actively pursuing taking migrants ( primarily Moroccans) . We think there are government incentives and it may be that if residents on the register are over 20,000 then more central funding is available. The end result is all the empty shops ( same problem as UK) are being taken over as Moroccan fruit and veg or halal butchers. So there must be a halal slaughterhouse to serve them. I suspect the town hall offers business rates reductions. I have just tried to search on reliable stats on immigration and emigration for European countries. Plenty available for EU countries. What is interesting is Germany leads the field for both. I wonder where Germans are emigrating to……? If anyone has more success please post the results 2023 Breakdown by Country (2023): Germany: 1,271,200 immigrants Spain: 1,251,000 immigrants Italy: 439,700 immigrants France: 417,600 immigrants Key Points: Germany and Spain also had the highest number of emigrants in 2023. Many EU countries saw a decrease in immigration in 2023 compared to 2022. In 2022, the EU received 5.1 million immigrants from non-EU countries. Malta had the highest rate of immigration per 1,000 residents in 2022. Germany, Spain, Italy, and France are among the top countries for both immigration and emigration in Europe |

When I did the fuel pump last September I had trouble finding the pre shaped rubber fuel line that connected the top of the fuel pump to the underside of the fuel pump cover.
Couldn't find a vauxhall one for the omega (mine is a 1999 v6 2.5) then came across one for a Vectra with the same engine that was a perfect replacement for mine which had gone gooey and was starting to disintegrate. From my Ebay listing there are several part numbers showing as follows: Opel 820415 9157561 RAPRO: R18258 and MFL1107 ( I think this is the Gates part number, which mine was) I got mine from Carpartsinmotion on ebay but I'm sure it must be available elsewhere. |

New red drain plug installed and leak cured. Someone (not me) had previously put a fibre washer on the bottom by the thread which had stopped it seating probably. I only noticed the leak once it worsened.
