steering adjust

can anbody tell me if i can adjust play in steering rack please  :y :y :y

there is steering box, not rack.

and a little play can be removed....but ill let someone else explain the details.

Yes it can be done there is a torx screw locked with a nut on the top of the ST box make sure the steering wheel is absolutely in the Straight ahead Position do not under any circumstances have the engine running while adjusting undo the nut whilst holding the torx screw and gently with not much more than the weight of yr fingers move the wrench ie tighten those allen key types are the best it wont move much and retighten and check by going for run  if you inadvertantly tighten too much yu will feel a definite drag on the steering wheel so it must be backed of but trial and error will soon get it right BUT DONT tighten too much

cheers guys have done now very pleased steering feels more responsive when turning left to right  :y :y :y :y
