i would have thought it would be the same weight if not heavier?

They would have had to to put strengthening beams in to keep it rigid

It should be light in the rear end and yes shame it's not a V6 with a manual box.

He says it has Audi TT wheels which are the same stud pattern but they aren't :-?.

That one may be rough , but to fair to the seller he's honest about it.
I think it looks bloody good and I remember one on here some time ago ,bright orange , that looked good too.
Over here there's a genuine Monaro pick up/ute  locally that looks very similar .
Done properly with the correct spec / engine it'd get my vote ....... :y
