3. When it does come off the spring behind it is strong enough to give you a nose bleed if you don't get out of the way :(
;D Sorry, I shouldn't laugh!

I've always found a pillow works quite well for avoiding looking like you've been in a car accident the next day ;)

Incidentally it seems while my car has an early-type MID, I bought a late-type MID off eBay, and they have different connectors on the back..

Anyone want a late-type MID  :-[ Dave, if a late-type MID is any use to you I'm happy to donate it to the cause ;)

Please excuse the slight hijack, and my ignorance but....

CID, MID, & TIDs? I know the Information Display bit, and assume Colour & Monochrome, but whats the T?

That info with some pics would be handy under the maintainence guides as usufull info, also a list of stereos in decending order and pics so they can be identified, as I am currently try to find out what the best equipment was in the facelifts, so far I am guessing NCDC2013 with CID

ah.

Curious as to which version of mig you had to buy to get a CID, or was it an optional extra, or an opel thing?

Always an option, never a standard piece of equipment.

So it looks like my GLS has got a TID then

and the Elite has a CCRT with the CCRT 700.

Colour displays - are they facelift only?

NCDC2015, CID and Telematics.

So whats next (going down the levels)

NCDC2015 and MID

NCDC2013 and MID

Generally, the stereo defines the display, except (from a radio point of view) MID and TID are interchangable, and the GID and CID are interchangable (tech2 required).

Now I'm really confused, thought the MV6 was a facelift model only?
