There are ways and means, and different customs etc....

If changing seats, some airbags better than none etc...
The airbag ecu needs to see a 3 ohm (iirc) load, so you just need the appropriate resistor to provide that.
Any auto electrician should be able to supply one I would have thought.

Yes, that should also be notified to insurers in the UK here.
Which is best :

Ive fitted new sports seats, which obviously dont have airbags, So I have added dummy load to keep the SRS happy. Fine, no problem sir, thanks for letting us know.
