WISHBONE SUSPENSION ARMS SET KIT

Hi all
Now I need to change my wishbones on a budget I have found the below on Ebay from ATP have anyone used them before are they any good  :-?

Based on the price alone I'd say no, especially considering you get tie rods aswell! I can't comment on ATP I've never heard of them. The general opinion on here is that ebay wishbones, generally aren't very good. You pay for what you get. Some forum members have sourced parts from allgermanparts.com and have good reports about them :y

p.s. you'd probably want to change the drop links at the same time, not the tie rods.

Look to be included, horizontal in pic, under the writing at the bottom.

I reckon it sounds like a good deal (edit: 2-year warranty too). I personally would go to andyc for any such bits, but that is definitely going to cost more than this package.  Really depends how long you think you may hang onto the car, and how much you enjoy/dislike struggling around inside wheel-arches.

Not according to the description, steering rod and tie rod which are the same thing.

I'd go by the picture and assume that the duplication in the description is a 'lost in translation'.  Easily checked with the vendor though.  :)

That's how alot of silly people allow themselves to be conned on ebay. i wouldn't go by the picture

I've had a good set and a not so good set of eBay wishbones from the same supplier (not ATP, another eBay supplier) and, TBH, I'd probably be willing to give them a go ;)

But I can change them myself so have no labour charges involved ;)

ATP are quite prolific on ze german eBay. And if those offered are any good that's fantastic deal. However I'd say the chances are slim. That makes them the cheapest wishbones ever...  :-/

not sure how long I will keep my baby but I think I will give them a go as I can change them myself an moneys tight at the moment.

Hi All

Kit arrived today all six pieces and are packaged Atec Germany no branding on the parts so probably fake.

They look well made I will you know how they handle once fitted

I used these on mine, though paid maybe £20 more 5months ago. All fitted ok, although had a spot of bother fitting  the o/s wishbone, (think my subframe is a bit wonky though). 13k later, and the front o/s bush is starting to flex. >:(

hopefully yours will last ok. Mine gets quite abusedalot of use. 1000+ hard miles a week. :-/

Fitted mine yesterday,

Looked exactly the same build as the wishbones I took off!

Went together OK.

Front end feels a lot better (has to as the old ones were sh**ed

13k isn't too bad from a cheap set of wishbones TBH ;)

I guess they're service items then. ::)

It's still a good feeling driving the car once all the vagueness has been eradicated from the front end and all four wheels are pointing the same way. :y

I consider them a service item. Mind you, intention is to polyflex the fronts and they should then last ;)
