What's the rear ride height? And is it the same both sides?

higher than standard chris as i have spring assisters fitted for towing the tin tent. And when the weather behaves itself i will measure both sides but as a quick visual it looks fine  ;)

Part arrived Friday, not same part no. though. It was numbered 90 502 201 (old no. 24420652, as Autovaux offered) and 250 3185 beneath. The flange is 6mm at the hole, whereas the old was 18mm. One hole in the head was blind, the other straight through. The old bolts were non magnetic - stainless steel, see other thread, and I can see why - with a bolt immersed in coolant it might rust.

I think I shall fit this thermostat unless advices otherwise.
terry if it helps when i replaced my thermostat the flange thickness was thinner, and as you have said one hole head is blanked and the other is straight through. In the hole that is blanked i used my bastard bolt seemed a good replacement, and worked for me HTH :y

Omega General Help / Re: Exhaust Downpipe
« on: 16 November 2013, 09:44:43 »
I bought the car with 12 months MOT (done at a trusted old skool local Vauxhall dealer) so I hoped it'd be ok.

Does anybody know what a set of downpipes costs from Vauxhall?

Is it worth joining Autobahnstormers to get a Vauxhall trade card?

Thanks for the advice.
2nd mortgage i would imagine  ;)

When mine did that I tightened the plug a little more with a pair of pliers. That was a year ago and it hasn't leaked since. If you need another plug to put  O-rings on give me a shout.Im sure I have a couple of spare ones somewhere. :y
Worked for too for a while :y.Then my rad split at top and had to replace rad  ::)
