adjusting zeon headlight
« on: 26 December 2009, 17:19:38 »

First of all Merry Christmas to all.

Can any body help me out with a problem with my car I have a 2001 3.0 V6 Elite. My dipped beam has set at the lowest level and will not adjust automatically as normal. can they be adjusted manually or do I have to pay out for new adjusters from main stealers.

Cheers for any input

Just to confirm, proper factory fit HID's or xenon lamps fitted to existing lamps?

Any adjuster wheel to the left of the headlamp operating switch?

Usual culprit is the adjuster arm coming adrift on the front nearside suspension arm.  Will link a pic in a minute or so...    :y

edit - pic here....  Sensor is roughly in the centre of the picture.

you need a diagnostic check done on your car or keep guessing .....  ;).
It's either a level switch on the front nearside wishbone or rear near side radius arm or a level motor in either of your headlamps

Individual lights are adjusted in the standard way with adjusters on eack light - assuming they aren't broken inside.  ;)

Found the problem, where the HID adjuster arm plugs into the rear of the HID sensor has come out. tried to plug it in but think it might be U/S now. ?
