Am I right in thinking?

Got a new drivers seat for my van, am I right in thinking, if I disconnect the battery take old one out put the new one in, wire it in etc, put battery back on, I won't have any airbag  light come on?

Seems to be how it works, if the ECU doesnt see it go, and the new one come, then it doesnt know there was a problem to report

Before you start any work, wait at least 20 minutes so there will be no chance of any residual electricity/static in the connections/circutry.
