"Hello" and Welcome :)

I know nowt about the 2.2 .. but the 2.5 I used to have towed a 1600 Kg 'van easily ... 'though not quite as easily as the present 3.2 does .. :)

Omega's make excellent tow cars  :y :y :y :y

Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.

Hi Rich and welcome to the forum :y

Personally I would go for a V6 or 2.5 diesel, it will tow so much better and probably more economically as well ;)
