Slapped a new exhaust on the Bullet :).  Thanks to the useless student for the use of his drive and some of his tools :y

No problem, thank you for assistance too  :y

Good days work, nice set of new rear springs for FatherT's 2.2 and new cambelt/water pump on my 2.2   :)

Nowt.....these damn VW's are just so reliable  :y ;D

Altho to be fair, i did have 3 new tyres the other day.....due to scuffing on the inside edges....but the rest of the tyre was down to about 2 - 2.5mm......but seeing as ive done 45k on 2 sets of tyres....i carnt complain and probably not worth shelling out to fix the problem, especially as they are cheap as chip tyres  :y

Polished the 2.6 , then explained to my neighbours son that I don't want to sell it !! He is looking for a replacement for his Mondeo which got stolen & torched, made me an offer of £1500 nice offer, but  I wouldn't let her go for double that..

Yesterday, tried to give the Battlebus an Italian tune up, seeing as I was out and about on an empty motorway...

...by empty, I mean the inside 2 lanes were absolutely empty, outside lane was a convoy sat behind some bint in a Mundano.
