Got the car MOT`d and had a nice chat with the girl at reception who loves the Omega and rear wheel drive cars, I`m almost tempted to keep it to get it MOT`d next year  ;D

Took the elite to have an Air-Con re-gas only to find out I need a new HP valve, which will be here in the morning :(

Spooky, I just got off the phone to my local guy who will take what little gas is left out of the 3.2 on Thursday, I'll fit 2 new valves, and then he'll regas . Charged me £30 last time. :y

I hope to have air-con by the end of the week if not tomorrow, will be the the first time in 4 years, as the last time it worked was when my daughter got married in Scotland 4 years ago today. It's £60 here for the re-gas service

we'll be nice and cool in France .. :)
It was rather warm when I was there a few days ago ;D

I suppose at some point I should get TBE regassed, as no history of it having been done in the last 12 years...

You mY as well swap the condenser out first then, as its due any day now I'd of thought...?

Not today, but the last thing I did was to sort the horrible knock from the NSF suspension.

It seems that the rear wishbone bolt needs to be tight for everything to work properly.

I would like to blame bad design for this, but embarrassing incompetence is much more realistic!

The Bullet's is/was on its original when the compressor disintegrated. So they can last well.

For the low cost of a regas, I'd probably take a flyer on TBE when it needs doing, as the Omega has a lot of other leak points in addition to the condenser.

...and from experience, the radiator as well. Good for another 12 then. And you mean condenser right?

No, it was definitely the compressor that disintegrated.  The condenser was still gas tight at that point.

Yes I've never had an issue with a compressor personally. Condenser however....
