When he is elected he will be able to pardon himself. Not just a pardon but a very pardon.
The trial has been a great fundraiser. As per the other thread, politics is in a dreadful state. In America, in the UK. No better here in Spain. Pedro Sanchez called a few years ago for Puidgmont to be sent to prison for organising an illegal referendum in Catalunia. Now he has orchestrated pardons in return for their votes in parliament so hecan stay in power. Passed 177 to 172 votes. Likewise the whole country is divided. |

Technically he can still run even if convicted, and you could reasonably argue that he has actually been held to account for his actions and is therefore more electable than anyone the left can muster, especially good ole Sippy Cup/Caramela Harris/ AOC or any other Obummer clones.  |
