Now you mention it,I think I remember you posting about the car a year or so back. I thought it was a diesel running on wvo though,or is that an other one ?

Still have fond memories of my 2.0GLSi Saloon I had as my first company car. 

Absolutely cracking cars and far better bolted together than the majority of the plastic panelled junk that's being sold today.

Yep, I had three of those , all new company cars and did over 100K in two of them. Surprisingly good cars for long distance drives . The number of times I drove from Lanarkshire to HO in Luton and back ( Pre Ryanair/Eazijet days  ) with no aches is testimont to their comfort.
I hope it goes to a deserving home .

It was a 2.5 V6 redtop. Mine was a 'P' plate (registered on 1/11/96) and it was always quite a pain to insure - (thoroughly knowledgeable insurance muppet - "no, cavaliers are an 'N' plate and they stopped making them in 1995........")
Red Saloon in GLS trim; went like a rocket and was really comfortable. All the kids came home from maternity in it, quite big sentimental value. Oh well
Last time I looked it was listed as stolen not recovered on gov.uk

And even today, you can get loads of parts for them

Yup thats them.
 head gaskets a must,and use a quality make as well.
