Well the first year we cooked panang curry, last year was green curry, so this year maybe Musaman curry (bit like indian korma, mild with potatoes, and crushed peanuts), anyway the poll is for folks going to decide which curry they would prefer to have, the majority vote, will have that Thai curry done for all. As there are a lot of folk going so I want to prepare early, as I may need some help with large pots and that from the pikey wagon owners.

If there is'nt enough interest in the Thai curry then I won't bother doing one, the poll will be open for 10 days only and then closed

I really enjoyed the last 2 Thai curries at Newent - bit of an eye opener for me, as the Thai resturants around here are disappointing.

I don't mind what it is though, so surprise me

(assuming it doesn't have fish in it!)

I've voted.. but I really don't mind ... whatever you do will be brilliant if last years effort was anything to go by !!

As we'll be there with the pikey van, if you need any "facilities" just yell ... 4 burner hob, oven, grill, microwave all available if you want to use them ..

I'm not worried what it is... I'll try anything!

We'll have the van so can help out but can't do the curry due to Mrs LD's allergies!

My one preference would be something without nuts, for the same reasons as above

, but not too worried as she'll be able to escape from the social area to the van if needs be

Mike I have voted Green Curry mate, but whatever is decided really will be great with me, as I must admit Mrs. Countess Curry making is the Best I have tasted

We always have a couple of saucepans in the 'van, but can always take the bigger ones from home for that weekend, also have a large preserving pan, if they are of use .. I also have a contact with a caterer who has all sorts of stuff .. including bloody big baine-maries (?) that go on gas rings outside .. just need a gas bottle

I will of course bring a batch of Indian chicken/mushroom curry which will keep overnight in the fridge no problem. Indian keeps for a day or two easily, not sure about Thai though so we could have Thai on friday & Indian saturday if eveyone's happy? I can fit in either way or cook on site & am looking forward to sampling Mrs. Dundees cooking.
What with BBQ Bob dent's stirling service i don't think anyone will go hungry!!!

Hope you decide to make a batch despite the surprising lack of response. The problem with the Indian is i can't make enough. The only reason it went round @ E. Anglia is everyone just had a ladle of rice & curry as appose to a plateful. If not much interest more for the rest of us!
