I've got Khumo's on the rear and Pirelli P6000's on the front of my 3.0 Elite and notice that when i hit a small bump or pot hole when cornering(long sweeping)it tends to skip across the surface of the road a bit, most disconcerting at speed :o.

It may be the rear self leveling shocks that cause this but won't know for sure until i can change them :-/.

It shouldn't really kick water out of the overflow unless it's been overfilled or the system is pressurizing :(.

Have you checked for water in the oil or white smoke from the exhaust :question.

I have a small hose behind the radio blowing cold air, about 19mm in diameter

That's probably the one that connects to the back of the Glovebox for the chiller :).

Hi you could allways use liquid metal, dont cost alot and if clean when put on it will have fresh thread use it 1s on a head bolt never went in 3years wile had the car. :y

You would have to take the sump out and thoroughly clean it to use this properly :(.

Sounds interesting fix too. Never heard of them before - quick search shows up dazzling array of sizes, types etc. Any guidance as to just what I will need and where from?
Some talk about taps and drills - would this be a sump off job or how do you avoid the scurf getting into the engine or .... ??
Thanks guys

Where you buy the helicoil from should be able to advise you on fitment size needed and as for going the re-tapping route any swarf should be caught by the filter :y.

Hi Chris, you could have a helicoil fitted, had it done on my Senator :y.
