"around 8600 rolled off the production line in Dunmurry but only 6500 are still in existance"

not bad going for 25 years to still have 6500 in existance!!

They look cool as a cool thing in the movies and, let's face it, you'd get a few looks driving through town in one, especially when you pull up and do the gull wing bit  8-)

However, look at one from a distance of less than about 6 feet, or, worse still, get in one and they are very very plasticky and nasty.

2.8 Litre V6 sounds OK but in reality that lump would struggle to remove the skin from a wet rice pudding let alone hit 88 MPH in a parking lot. A V6 Omega would leave one of these standing big time!

So, bit of an odd one, really. I could kind of fancy one as a project to make it do what it should have done in the first place but they're too valuable to go modding :-/

The rare later ones with the porsche engine are reasonable, the 2.8 lump is much to heavy for that little thing.

1 for sale in a garage 2 mins away! needed a lot of work

Somehow the fact its a delorean is all that matters  :-/
