Sods law
« on: 01 September 2009, 20:19:48 »

Today my passenger wiper blade decided to self destruct, it was bucketing down, 40mph down the usual 90 70mph A43

About a 2 miles from home it decided to destroy it self, and locking the drivers one too.  :o

Managed to see just enough to get home, on further inspection the whole blade just fell to pieces in my hand.

I'll be stealing borrowing father tunnies Omega tomorrow, damn good job we have a fleet of 3 Omegas  ;D

Got some shocks on order, and some wiper spoilers, and a ICV rubber pipe, should be in Thursday morning ::)

Shocks at Newent.  Might slap on a new cambelt if time permits, in which case the ICV pipe can go on :y

It would save me the stupid rush Friday morning trying to pick her up and then shoot off to Newent. Need bits for Newent.

Go on, father tunnies car needs a ragging, then you can blast the bike later.  Besides, those blades are a bit long to carry on a bike safely.

Too many people use my TC account at this dealer, an invoice account would lead to disputes I reckon...

I'll be in Manc for Newent (which is a shame), but I'll wager you a years supply of weed that I could do both your front shocks (that's start to finish) before you'd managed to roll me a half oz from start to finish  :D

its not a long job, its usually the spring compressors that take me ages, and then getting the camber right afterwards
