Replaced spark plugs, leads & fuel filter as part of service, replaced fuel pump as it was lifeless, checked coil pack is in good condition but swapped with a known good one, checked everything 3 times & still has missfire. Connections inside pump are good & no twisted or cracked hoses, would rip my hair out if I had any, any advice where to look next would be most helpful as SHMBO is not a happy bunny  :'(

Changed plugs 2 weeks ago as part of service & replaced fuel pump 2-3 days ago. Car has been running fine for 2 days now have missfire, checked plugs & leads & got a healthy spark at each plug so starting suspect probs with fuel injection, any pointers on where to look next? No fault codes logged

Cheers for all the help chaps, pump connection has power but no life in the pump, sitting down with a large drink before I ring the dealer. If anyone has delved into this area any tips would be much appreciated & book of lies only gives it 3 spanner’s so can’t be that hard can it?

Tested relays, they seem ok, swapped relays with known working one & still no joy. Wondering if it’s possible to test pump direct from battery & if anyone has done it?

Listened under the fuel tank & nothing so starting to suspect fuel pump, also disconnected fuel hoses under plenum near the servo, cranked it & not even a dribble. So before I condem the pump is there any way of testing the purple relays or pump before I rip it all apart, fuses seem ok

Any advice on where to go next, engine spins but won’t fire. No fault codes, swapped crank sensor for a known good one, descent spark at plugs, fuel pump fuses ok, only thing not checked is immobiliser but everything else seems in order, any advice on where to look next would be most helpful, it’s a 97 3.0

Was looking for something a bit smaller & cheaper than the Bentley option, something along the lines of a small but sturdy dog cage or similar that takes up half to a third of the boot space of a focus & won’t give me a double hernia if i need to remove it but hopefully deter the more light fingered scum out there, more of a strong deterrent than a fortress

Anyone have any experience with heavy duty mesh, steel or Ali as I need to get some kind of secure box or cage made up to fit into the car boot and secure some valuables inside

I use Lightroom & Photomechanic but if you only need basic manipulation software Nikon view2 is ok for lighten, darken, sharpen & Raw file stuff, don't know if it will read Canon raw files

We have skylights in kitchen & bathroom both facing south & recent hot weather is unbearable for swmbo, so wondered if anyone has tried tinting or heat reflective film that goes on wet, been told it is mirror like at dusk & she is happy with that so if anyone has any tips or advice on if they work or not.
