OBD2 Compliance.
« on: 13 November 2006, 13:05:49 »

Do we have a definitive list of when the meega's got ODB2 compliance?

I have a 2000 (W) 2.2 CDX, I plugged in a scanner (Actron 8135), but just got a read error.
Now I would have thought it was deffo compliant, but maybe not? Although it could be a different problem which meant I couldn't get any codes.
The EML isn't on, but has flashed on a couple of times, so I was looking for any 'pending' codes.

So do we know the dates each variant got it?

Any petrol with DBW instead of a throttle cable should be OBD2.

As Theolodian says, I thought all DBW petrol models were OBDII...

Cheers, I thought it was, but easier to troubleshoot things like this once you KNOW it SHOULD work.
