Vulcan, Southport airshow
« on: 19 September 2015, 20:51:29 »

It was very sad seeing this flying today and knowing, that for me, it will be for the last time :'( :'( . Nice display and it looked awsome in formation with the red arrows. A Typhoon turned up and basically ripped the sky apart with a cracking display, funny seeing people actually in shock due to the noise it made  ;D

I'm hoping Jimbob attended and took some decent pics !

I was at the airshow on Saturday and the Vulcan - as expected - was an awesome yet sad sight...

I warned my 8 year old about the ground shaking as it starts to climb - he didn't believe me until it did LOL

He doesn't like the Vulcan now....

We was waiting for the Typhoon to turn up, which was supposed to be before the Red Arrows, but they came first - we left just as the Red Arrows started to do their display....

I only went for the Vulcan and the typhoon, but was pleasantly surprised by how agile the Chinook is - for something that weighs in a 10 tonnes, its very very chuckable... hats off to the pilot :y

@Andy B - I heard something yesterday meself but didn't see anything - might have been above clouds...?
