Glad you're physically OK, which is preferrable to still having your cash but being in A&E

Hi James,

As Ken T says, money can be replaced, a lift can't.

I lent a friend thousands of pounds, i dont know which hurts more, being mugged or knowing it was a friend.

Hope you recover soon from your ordeal.

Never offer money to beggars - a lot of them only want it for drugs and they will sell their own grannies for money.

Best thing is to get something heavy and keep a look out for her - then take your money back.

If she hasn't got it - hospitalise her

What a skag bitch. Really sorry to hear of this, I'm always a bit paranoid when I've got any substantial amount of cash on me. Sounds like she was a junkie, what goes around comes around so hopefully the next time she tries it she'll get a good pasting for her troubles >:(

I would be economical with the description of the physical encounter between you and the young lady... if you tried to 'restrain' her that is one thing, but these days honest citizens can get in trouble for taking-on a criminal...  :-?

Sorry to hear of your trouble, at least you are ok.

Something simular happened to a friends Mother after taking Cash from a machine in a shopping centre, the thief got away, my friend approched the centres security staff and asked about the CCTV system, low and behold it was all caught on camera.  The thief was tracked down by the police, went to court, £75 fine  >:( (they stole £100).

Don't know if anything would be on camera anyway, maybe worth asking around.
