Fixed the Corsa handbrake. Nothing broken in the end. Had just jumped off mounts and seized a bit. Cleaned, greased and reassembled and adjusted and all is well. One happy Harry.

Speaking of the Corsa C.....our car has soaking wet carpets on the driver side floor (behind pedal area is perfectly dry)

Both scuttle drains cleared out the first time it happened.

Where is the water coming from????? :-\

Seal on the bulk head plate where the master cylinder mounts has failed, big job to remove but, had 100% long term success rate by loosening it and forcing sealant in (polyurethane) and re-tightening. Must have done ten of them over the years

Cheers Mark.....I shall do this. :y

If you pull the scuttle cover on the drivers side I bet its full of moss, leaves and dirt, vacuum it all out and give it a real good scrub so the water can flow past and that usually gives a quick improvement

Looks to be just the bumper.  It looks creased/cracked, so suspect it'll be a new bumper.

Bit of underseal and a clean underneath Ezekiel. It's done about 1000 miles this year and isn't looking too shabby.

Then fiddled with the 406 for a bit, in anticipation of a mild remap and a bit of cosmetics.

Any suggestion I was putting off looking at the Mk2 Golf project is downright slanderous, but as it happens I've got a bit more done on that too.

I am CAKED in filth.

Done about 15 miles on local roads this morning.

Keep getting (false) coolant level warnings, and getting quite a lot of smoke from the other bank once its had a drive. Hmmmm....

Begun retrofitting a reversing camera. Managed to acquire both the boot lid and main ECU to fuse box/dash display for a fair price so figured why not... ::)

Boot lid all done and back together, just waiting for the other loom to arrive so I can dismantle the rest of the car.

Reversing camera all plumbed in except the programming to activate it and a bracket to secure the ECU.

Booked my desirable and very valuable Vauxhall in to have an exhaust bracket welded on for the MOT next month.

Are the aluminium heat shields required for the MOT?.
