reckon the motor in throttle body is problem mate or there is a small nipple under butterflies-pipe to fuel reg-is that blocked

thanks symes, gave body and hole for pipe thorough clean and still no go. When i turn ignition on i get rapid clicking from (i presume)throttle motor ,took spring clips off and could see nothing obviously wrong circuit board/plastic cogs,has anyone else had this problem before do i really need to replace whole throttle assembly and motor?

Two. One at top of throttle pedal, t`other built into throttle body

clicking from throttle body -yes? wonder if spindle on butterflies is sticking-what I mean is-if spindle tight it could put stress on
motor=clicking-only a guess though mate

Seemed free enough when cleaning--saw throttle body + motor on ebay  £20 what do you think?

Tough call-could be knackered -no what I mean-up to you mate-but just wondered you are getting fuel yes? wondered if fuse/relay to pump-only just thought of it-sorry mate :-[

I know you did get the car running  . .but is it back to not starting at all again now ?

just thinking that you could always put out a request on here for someone to "lend you to try " a spare throttle body to eliminate that

side of things if anyone one has one knocking around  ;) ;)
